Thought I'd get some more Theros discussion going while I watch the Rock in Rio concert in Rio de Janeiro. Absolutely no clue what to do with this card in the new format.

Rock in Rio you say? There's hardly any rock in our Rio this year. Too many different styles that shouldn't be in a "Rock" festival. I understand it is needed for marketing purposes and to make money, but still.

And Master of Waves is just brilliant top down design, and it has a chance as a finisher in some blue-based elemental decks.

Razz Yeah, there is something a little weird about Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé headlining a 'rock' festival, but pretty much all of Saturday's and Friday's set was a bunch of awesome rock artists.

I really want some really good Elementals to just abuse this for the brew factor. I guess I could play some funky-a** Bant midrange thing with Voice of Resurgence and support like Judge's Familiar. Or just stick it in a Horde of Notions EDH.

Curve topper in Modern Merfolk, and a pretty damn good one at that. Also, it pumps Mutavault =D
