Re: Dimensional Prison
So when I joined ygo, it was around FOTB. Me and my friend both had Sakuretsu Armor and to me, that was the most borken shit ever. Then I found out about this and mind blown.

Re: Dimensional Prison
I remember when people were trying to decide whether or not this was more useful that Mirror Force.

People never wondered that, at least not anyone I know. There has always been a clear distinction between which is better, and Mirror Force was always better until much more recently.

I mean, personally, I ran both back in the days that I played GKs, since together they're the most easily utilized combat trick arrangement you could have for backrow. At least, in Synchro era.
Now, it's kind of a toss-up. (Few) People play Mirror Force since, at 2, it's a great wipe when you don't have Dark Hole, but it's really inconsistent against things that can just, y'know, pop it or prevent it from working (see Evilswarm, primarily, alongside pops from stuff like Dracossack and Blaster). D-Prison gets around destruction evasion, but it's still got the same problem as Mirror Force in that it's not an easily accessible pop.
This is still one of my favorite backrow cards, but we know why it's not nearly as good nowadays.

Re: Dimensional Prison
Yea, when this f1rst came out it was pretty revolution4ry for it's time.
Hell, even today it can be playable, since, you kn0w, Banishing can be pretty efficient as a mean5 of monster removal.
(I'm disregarding metagame shenanigans)
