Just scroll down to the deck if you don't want to hear me reminisce.

For those who want to hear... in the beginning when I first started playing, my best friend: Andx, was introduced to it with me. He wasn't just fond of dogs, but he boasted a dog persona online too. While my first deck was some weird Oracle Think Tank deck, he found something he would've liked to find in Yugioh. A consistent deck on dogs. He took up Beast Paladins. Other than when he, my other friend, and I started doing some silly shit by making a Zen Koan version of AL4, that was his main deck.

Unfortunately, he's left on an important mission for religious purposes for an entire two years. We still keep in touch every week, but I still miss having him around all of the time. This is the reason why the deck is titled: "In Loving Memory".

Honestly, I prefer Crits over Stands here since the Soulcharge bonus doesn't matter that much cause no Soul Saver. I've also always liked a couple Blaster Blades in here, but I don't think it's that necessary, especially since it takes away Counterblasts from Akane, who doesn't eat your hand in set-up.

Only reason I'm running Stands is because RearguardBased.dek. Even then, I might just toss them all out and go 6-6 with Crits and Draws.

Could find no room here for Blaster Blades, surprisingly enough.

Actually, if you want both Akane and Garmall maxed... wow... I'm not actually sure how I used to have my Grade 2s split up since I haven't played this deck in forever. =/
