...so, they actually tried to make a new Bob.

Not sure how good this is.

I'll hold myself of with the verdict until GTC comes out, but I'm sure it will see play in one way or the other.

What is this actually bad at?

4/4 Flier for 4. Ok, so it's already well costed.

"Symmetrical Bob effect". But if they don't peel an instant, you always get to use what you get first.

Gonna be testing this guy extensively, it feels like there shouldn't be an argument for him to be bad, but he also seems like he could just be so damn bad.

Essentially, the reason why Bob was so good was because he's cheap. 4-mana for a symmetrical effect? I don't know. Having to run Blue really hurts it too.

I mean, he's obviously good (4/4 flyer for 4 is good value), but we'll have to see if he's good in Standard. The most useful thing I can think of for him is some sort of UBx Flash deck (cheap counters + X-spells to abuse him to the max). Esper for Revelations sounds good.

Having to run Blue never hurts.

Well, more of a multicolour limitation. Decks that could run this probably need to end up splashing blue.
