    [Gatecrash] Signal the Clans Attachment

    Signal the Clans
    Instant
Search your library for three creature cards and reveal them. If you searched for three cards with different names, choose one at random at put it into your hand. Shuffle the rest into your library.

...what's with Gruul having these really techy cards that seem adequate when you first look at them but you just don't know where they'd go at all in any format

Why would this card be good, actually? The choice is at random. ._.

    Fill your deck with redundancy.

    Realise redundancy doesn't need tutors.

It makes an interesting tutor if your decks full of 1-of techs, but it's still such a redundant tutor.

I guess it would be adequate in EDH, since that's a lol-no-shit-it's-one-of format.

But it's random. If I want a random tutor, I'll use Guided Passage, personally.

In EDH, though, you may have 3 creatures that fit one role in a deck, and this is an actual tutor for them. Seems perfectly fine in EDH, tbh.

I think that this card is actually interesting in constructed formats. It's a instant speed tutor and aggro/midrange decks would love some ways to fill your hand with creatures faster.

Just think about this targeting Huntmaster, Thragtusk and Armada Wurm. You'll be fine with whatever comes to you.

I don't think this'll be in any sort of Naya Midrange, though. There are a lot of better options.

For "searching" creatures? In this standard? I don't think so.

Trackers instincts send the rest to the graveyard, something that Naya doesn't really wants. You can't flashback it too if you're not splashing for blue. It also doesn't let you get "specific" targets.

Why are you trying to search with this at all? Why not just play a higher threat density, since all your creatures do the same thing anyway?
