Disappointing Endings

Have you ever read/watched something where the ending just didn't quite feel like it fit? Maybe it was too rushed, or out of place, both, or something else entirely? I just finished one of the "most defining" web comics in the history of said comics, and the ending almost ruins the rest of it. Sappy "everything's perfect wtf are you on about" epilogue, the bad guy dies, and the usual such endings to a story without anything truly special and/or unique happening. Okay, mini-rant over, discuss endings that were just not up to par.

Also, I'm just going to go ahead and inb4 Gurren Lagann, simply because the complaints about its ending are usually that it WASN'T a sappy perfect ending, and that everyone who's a fan of the series already knows the arguments for both sides far better than they should.

Or, to be more precise, the ENTIRE season, not only its ending.

Hmmm. The Inheritance Series, but then the last book was sorta sub-par. Everything ended to neatly, and to... guessably.

If we count games, the end of Golden Sun Dark Dawn. Becuase god dammit that ending annoyed me.

Umm... I can't think of a huge many more at the moment.

@Dark Sun: I thought that was supposed to be WAIT FOR THE SEQUEL... but we never got a sequel, so I am now just ompletely confused by it.

The Secrets of The Immortal Nicholas Flamel ended kind of all of a sudden. It feels like he left a few questions open ended while answering al the main ones.

Feels like he left a lot open for side stories which would be kind of cool Seeing Scathatch in her fight with the Valkire would be awesome.

Lie to Me was bad. Veronica Mars was the worst.

Incarnations of Immortality, book 5, Being a Green Mother. It ended really weird from what I recall.
