One of my personal favourite creatures ever printed. Really wish it'd get reprinted for modern with its promo art. Might be a reason in non-Gifts decks to up the curve topper to 5 and makes for a pretty solid Rock deck.

I love it on DotP 2013. Also I really don't understand how a 6/6 for 5 with regeneration could have been designed in 2001.

Because R&D realised they can push the boundaries they have for creatures and not just spells.

It completely Revitalized the Concept of The Rock...Completely...Well this and the fact that it was printed in the same Block as Prenicious Deed and Phyrexian Arena
