    Hmm...I don't know if it would be that good in EDH, but worth trying out.

    I'd rather run Kher Keep to Ghitu Encampment, personally.

    Doesn't produce the red mana, but doesn't come into play tapped, and makes chump blockers where you would usually have to sac a land, essentially.

    Heck, you could just run both, I just like repeatable chump blockers in a mana sink land.

    Well, technically no harm in running both of them, but the more nonbasics I play, the less benefits I'll get from Blood Moon, Ruination and Valakut.

    You're not losing anything by playing non-mountains with Blood Moon.

    True if you were to be running 2 Colors it would be terrible but Since is is Mono Red Losing a couple nonbasic doesn't do shit to you...and you are losing the ones you already have anyways so that's nothing to be afraid of...also you Won't ALWAYS get Blood Moon online ASAP so

    On another note Mark of Mutiny seems iffy when cards like Unwilling Recruit and Act of Aggression Exist.
