Clasp was proven to be much better, even though this could be a turn-six finisher depending on your infect speed.

More like a Contagion Snail. 10 mana to make all their stuff -2/-2? No thanks.
So many better board wipes, and they're not even one-sided. Frankly, if you resolve this, and proliferate with it, your opponent sucks and so does their deck, or you just got stupidly lucky and paid 10 mana to -2/-2 one creature.

Clasp is leagues better, and your finisher's more likely with something in mono-green pumped or Skittles the Blight Rainbow.

Infect finishing at 6 mana plus a turn, or 10 mana... The thought of that is just kinda funny.
I mean, I've played mono-black infect, with Skithiryx and Phyrexian Crusader as my only Infectors, and it doesn't take that long, and that's as slow as infect should ever get.
