CGC and you.

So, what does CGC mean to you? I'm really curious.

I'll say, I didn't expect it to be this active. For this long.

It means many wonderfull people to talk to every day I get along with everyone mostly so it's a great place to come to after a day at school.

Honesty Ive talked to more peope here than I had in 2 years in RL, im not very social.

Plus a lot of people here play lot's of card games so it's always fun to play a game with them

I consider it my little place on the internet. Used to be "the-site-that-should-not-be-named", but then... yeah.

It was created under the "rage" and heat of the moment after my expulsion, but it survived and is active, albeit quiet.

Needless to say, I'll take care of it like it was my own son.

CGC was borne of hatred, but it has... changed. It has become its own place. It has sorta thrived, albeit inactively.

Like a docile tortoise, it lumbers on, but soon it will take steroids and transform into a glorious ninja turtle.

...cowabunga, dudes.

It's one of the few places on the internet I can go and not immediately resent half the community.

Also great since I get to talk about my favourite hobbies since the forum's kinda "cardgame coalition".

I even get the added bonus of being able to help keep it in good shape as and when necessary.

Its just a place I can embrace mine nerdy ways. Particualrly magic.

Oh, and get to know a whole lotta awesome peoples.

So i thank ye for making it in the first place.

It's the first forum I haven't forgotten about completely, and willingly go back to. It's got the only tolerable people on YCM, though it is still missing a couple, and the new people are fantastic.

Its a wonderful place where I can get away from YCM and talk to people on the same level.

The "site that shall not be named" destroyed everything I built up and stayed for. There was nothing else left for me, especially since the one person I stayed for doesn't have access to the internet. So in the beginning, this became a place to escape from that awful place.

Now CGC is something I want to care for. Not out of spite, but simply because it's the safe haven we're all working on together, something we all want to flourish with life. As Rodrigo stated, I want to take care of it as if it was my own kin.

Unfortunately I have nothing to write for this site on the scale of what I wrote yesterday, but here is to many years to come!

It's my new internet home, I guess.

There are a few things/people I'mma miss from forum.voldemort.com, but nothing too much.

Currently? CGC doesn't mean much of anything to me.

It's not the sites fault, it's mine for not being interesting or something I'm sure.

I hope it'll change, but... At the current rate, all I can see if my activity here dying just like it did on forum.voldemort.com

The lack of Toku people is extremely disturbing, but whatever. Place is just like an apartment to me, I got used to it while visiting other previous apartments. :U

CGC is a place to look for distractions while I'm on my computer. It's also a place of...somewhat like minded individuals.

Also based on the first few posts in this thread, CGC harnesses the Dark Side of the Internet.

They who shall not be named don't know the power of the Dark Side.

I'm still forced to stay YCM by sake of most of my graphic friends being there, but otherwise CGC is home first most.

I must say, CGC's survival has managed to surprise me in a good way. Great place, with great people. Thank god there are less trolls here.

Since I've only posted in a total of one thread, not a whole lot.

It is, however, a safe place from the idiocy of the site I'm sure you all know. I can't even say how appreciated that is.

Well, there isn't much here for me to be completely interested enough to post like daily, but I do feel potential somehow. But what do I know?

It's doesn't mean much now, aside from checking in out of boredom. However, I do feel like this is a place that will grow on me with some time.
