Rather underwhelming +1, but his -2 seems like it could be very effective.

I think he's better than a lot of first impressions may give him credit for. Gonna be interesting to use him in the post-RTR metagame.

Ehh... I don't know, it just seems worse in comparison to the other Jaces (Not counting Mind Sculptor, since that's just broke). A board-wide Fleeting Distraction, a mini Fact or Fiction, and... a better Bribery?
Honestly, I don't like it very much.

Its -8 seems pretty useful, but only if you know your opponent well enough to pick a card from their deck. In a professional game, it won't get much use, but casually, I think it has merit.

At first, I thought it wasn't that great.

Then I realized that Delver has a usable 4-drop nuisance.

    God. Dammit.

They've been trying to be careful with Blue lately. I say they're doing a good job.

Until you realize you have 2 Fact of Fictions for 4 mana.

Just realised, why is this card so insanely multiplayer-based?

+1 cushions you for every turn in multiplayer.
-2 lets you choose which opponent to choose (multiplayer politics)
-8 just lets you go crazy in multiplayer.

Methinks a "guild wars" purpose in the lore, since Jace is unaffiliated.
