Ya'll know you people can add a chatbox to this right.

What title says. I know forumotion's setup and how it works.

and if you didn't know you can add a chatbox. Here is step by step how to activate it



Step 1: go to Admin panel.

Step 2: Click Module

Step 3: Scroll down to where you see chatbox on the left under the roleplaying game.

Step 4: click configuration

Step 5: where it says activate Chatbox: check yes.

Step 6: hit the drop down menu below the yes/no and choose location whether top or bottom of forum.

Step 7: hit validate



and done. If already knew than just ignore this xD

It was there, and it was removed. The chances of it hurting more than helping the forum is too great.

depends if you can moderate it well. but i understand what your talking about. Cbox cause problems on some of my old forums because everyone wanted to be in cbox and not do anything .-.

Yeah, for that reason, we decided to remove it.

We need to find a way to add a Status Bar, but it seems impossible for now...

But their a portal activation which allows users to click on it to see who is online, lastest posts, and other stuff



Edit: Nope nothing for a status bar. than again Forumotion was not designed to be like twitter, facebook, etc

Real time is important for scheduling fights, but the life of the forum should take priority. Also, since CC has a built in chat for real time it's not a big loss for scheduling purposes.
