Most Photoeditors have a command when using the line tool (or any tool that dictates a path), that forces a straight line. In Photoshop, it's hold shift while clicking for a straight line iirc. For GIMP, I'd reckon it would be around the same. So you've little excuse...

    I know.
It works with anything. (I use it for brushes a lot)
But it doesn't work with the Path Tool for some reason. Whenever I use it, the line looks bendy or disoriented.

I am just going to download the whole thing when I can again, the actual program.

Alt+Ctrl+R is the shortcut command, otherwise it's found in the select and right click menu when a path is targeted.
