Personal ghost sightings

So yeah, not some that you saw on the internet or in movies. I mean actual experiences with seeing something move in a dark room or something.

As for me...I remember clear as day, at the age of 5, one night I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep, but I just gave up and looked around my room. I saw this doll poking its head out of my closet and moving its jaws up and down as if it was chewing something. I blink and then it's in the drawer a few feet from my bed. I blink again, and it's sitting on my bed post where my feet are.

Then I blink one last time and it's right f*cking in front of my face, chattering like a mutha. I was wide awake too, and it was dead silent. I'm surprised I didn't start crying my a** off. It scarred me for life.

So have any of you seen ghosts in your life?...or just some superstitious shadow that looks like one? Please, share.

I once got into a little phase where I wanted to go invetigating this stuff I never got to but the stories always interest me.

I personaly dont have any such stories to tell.

Exactly this is my way of thinking as well

I don't exactly remember this considering I was only 4 or 5 at the time, but my parents remember the story clearly. We were living in my great-grandparents' house while they lived up in Alabama (they have since moved back down here to Georgia and my family currently live in a new house). Anyway, my parents said one day when everyone woke up, I asked my father why he was standing in the doorway of my and my sister's room the night before. He said he was in bed all night and asked what I saw. I told them I woke up in the middle of the night like I always did and I saw a man standing in the doorway of the room, although they said I couldn't give them details of what he looked like because everything was so dark. Like I said, I don't remember it so it could have been a dream/my imagination, I couldn't tell you.

Another story my great-grandmother and my mom has told me, in that same house, around the same time period, my great-grandparents came to visit. Everyone went somewhere or something like that and my mom, my great-grandmother, and me and my sister was the only ones in the house. They said my sister was in her crib since she was a baby at that time and I was asleep on the couch. They went to go check on her and went they got back, I had covers on despite them saying I had none on before they went to go check on her. When I woke up, they asked me if I had put the covers on myself and I said it was my dad, despite him working at that time.

Like I said earlier, my great-grandparents now live in that house and my sister and I go over there to stay for the weekend. During the night, I swear, you can hear footsteps going up and down the hallway despite everyone being in bed. Also, sometimes, I get a weird feeling I'm being watched or something like that. I haven't been the only one to hear footsteps or get a weird feeling or being watched in that house. My sister, my great-grandparents, and my parents have said they all felt like that while living there or staying there. However, since no one has ever been touched or anything like that, we kinda just leave it alone and we rarely talk about it. Although, I always have wondered if some kind of spirit or something was living there.

That's all I can think of right now.
