Your Personal Image

So school's coming soon, and I'm sure some of you may achieve to make a new impression on others. Do you try to look your best? Do you worry about things like weight and/or facial problems? Do you have a sense of style you want to convey?

My image from the past few years has done more damage to me than the benefits. Honestly, I don't know what to do this year.

Well...

I lived the entire High School with Level 3 acne. Sometimes it was so much that it was disgusting even for me. But I never really cared; too much of a hassle to take care of that, and the medicine is extremely strong, so I waited until now to take it.

So nope, I never cared about my appearance. I do care about my behavior though.

I hate my apperance, I have no sense of style, but I don't hugely care how I look.

I just don't like to think people stare at me becuase of my apperance. Which makes wearing a trenchcaot in summer a stupid thing to do.

Oh, but I've never gotten Acne really. I think i've only had one spot that was masked by my hair.

I tend to dress like a turd, but it hasn't really harmed me in any way that matters. I don't really let things get to me, and my image is good enough with my friends, and I can make new friends every once in a while. Nobody really cares about how I look, and if they do, I normally don't care what they think.

I get a little acne on the right side of my chin. It's not really bad at all, but it bothers me because I only have it in that region.

I generally just dress in what I find comfy, but it's generally just wearing whatever I find, but I don't care about my appearance at all. I'd much rather care about my personality, but even then I just act like I act... So really I put absolutely no effort into how I appear to other people. Which is how one should conduct themselves, imo.

I'm in uni so who the f*** cares what people think of me. Thus I dress to impress.

I get annoyed by wearing bad clothes, so I care about my clothes, but practically because of myself rather than anybody else. I'm a little tall and skinny, so I've always been a bit strange.

Otherwise, don't care. Personality counts for a lot, and you should easily look past appearance for peoples' personalities.

All my life I've never cared for appearance or hygiene. I just throw on a shirt and jeans, put a hat on, and I'm ready.
I never really had any acne problems, though people always say I look younger than I am, so they call me "baby face." I actually kinda like it.

Not quite done with my IRL personal image at all. Though without fail, every single time I get into a school setting I'm: "The easily excited guy that never bothers anyone but enjoys helping himself and challenging /everything/."

Eh I dont care what I look like to the people of my school, there all a bunch of sports loving country song loving people, mabye if I ever move I'll change myself up a little.

hm. so peoples personal reflection says there is some pride in being socially awkward/unacceptable. I wonder if this post creates a shift in reflection outcomes.

My personal image is odd. I am considered to be one of the most attractive people at my school (I was rated in the top three most attractive in the thing ran by the journalism club ^^); however, given my past with everyone here, no one wants to speak with me, nor do they care what I do. I guess physical looks really don't have much to do with social success as much as they make them out to be.

I have no friends.

Social skills don't relate to image, since image changes dependant on your social status. And Cirno, having no real friends is better than having the illusions of a friendship. When you get a tantalizing idea of what it would be like, but without any of the actuality.

Pesonally, I am an Outcast. I am part of a lot of groups, but I never fit into an single one. Which means I spend an awful lot of time stuff with just my head for company. As a result, my image is one of trying to blend into a crowd. Theres also the fact my personality lends itself to trying to fit in by copying traits from people spend lengthy periods of time around. So, some have considered me a kind of carnival mirror. Which wasn't the nicest of nicknames.

I actually care about my appearance a lot and try my best to look as great as possible.

But this year I'm gonna be focusing on extracurricular activities, jobs and attempt to tone down my dickish attitude by a few notches.

It's really hard.

Im getting jacked this year according to my swim coach so I'll probably work on my image more.

I care about how my skin is, I.E hate having spots, having to wear glasses is a down as well, people tend to look upon you different idk.

Also wearing ugly clothes is something I'd like to avoid.

I don't understand why people are so afraid of me? I mean I wear a tuxedo! It doesn't get any more fancy than that!

You know maybe I wanted to get a job in Hollywood. Ah who cares.

We're scared because we dont like you messing up our cameras. Those things are expensive!
