- Since today's DailyMtG, I think I've found my new deck. Engineered during Alara/Zendikar standard to combat Jund, I'm using the same concept in Modern. It should work fairly well since it's basically 'screw mana, win'.
Note that I'm not running any spells under converted mana cost 4 that isn't either Cascade or a mana-screwer. That way, All my cascaders guarantee mana-screwing
Bloodbraid Elf > Ardent Plea or mana-screwer > mana-screwer
Captured Sunlight > Ardent Plea or mana-screwer > mana-screwer
Arden Plea > mana-screwer
Obviously, if your opponent is running mono-Blue or Ux, then you side Sea's Claim into Convincing Mirage.
