Re: [MtG] Elspeth, Sun's Champion
I've come to like Elspeth the best of the planeswalkers, and I am sad to see hero go. Especially like this.
Sun's Champion is a very good version of her as well.

Re: [MtG] Elspeth, Sun's Champion
I'm not one invested much in the story, but that's a serious shame. Mostly because I personally find Elspeth one of the few ways I'll tolerate using creatures in non-EDH formats.
Still, she had a bloody good run. One of the most consistently good Planeswalkers ever, just behind Jace and Tezzeret, really, and one could argue against the latter being better overall.
I will continue to enjoy her presence in my standard decks for as long as her, Supreme Verdict and Sphinx's Rev are all together (even if she's in my sideboard for my stupid 2 Opportunity, no win condition UW deck I'm working on), and hopefully continue never losing a game when my opponents cast her (which hilariously is even the case in sealed).
She's still the premier win condition in standard and block. I don't think any other card in the format comes even remotely close.

At least that means Gideon will have increased chances of becoming the flagship white walker.
