    I swear, MtG singles prices are extremely ridiculous these days. Still, this card is amazing, from casting cost to flavor text.

    I remember when I flipped two of these back in Scars format. I sure do regret it now. These things are bitchin'.

    Man I remember Scars/INN standard when I got to put Lashwrithes on these things. Even if that was generally overkill and if anything I miss Lashwrithe more from that than anything else.

    I'm still yet to see this do anything good in modern. I've seen all the hype around the rock deck, but I haven't seen it win any games where just about any 4 mana creature wouldn't have. I generally just end up thinking Thrun would be better a lot of the time, especially since it's Path-proof.

    It is definitely scared of removal unlike Thrun. But it does represent an incredibly strong threat if left undealt with.

    I actually stalled a board state with this card by sitting on it until I flipped a Gatekeeper of Malakir.
