    Tamiyo, the Moon Sage

    Post by HiveNet on Wed Sep 25, 2013 10:08 pm

    So I thought given she rotates out in 2 days-ish, it'd be worth having one last discussion on this thing.

    And really Innistrad as a whole while we're at it.

    Thoughts on both?

    Yeah, I'm gonna miss Tamiyo. And Innistrad. Innistrad was just such an awesome block, and the mechanics of the block were just hilarious to play in Standard. I still probably rank Innistrad above Theros overall, but that's no fault of Theros itself, just Innistrad just being generally stupendous.

    Obvious inb4 was obvious.

    I'm going to miss her... and Drownyard... and Think Twice. So sad to see such amazing cards go. :c

    Now I only get to play her in EDH, but that naturally means she's automatically in every EDH deck I ever play and I naturally stick to blue commanders just so I can play her. Forever the best card!

    Just something so simple and effective that I love about it Smile

    Anyway, awesome planeswalker, awesome set.

    And that's how I felt with Dungrove Elder last year. So much fun with him ;w;

    Tamiyo is, obviously, one of the best cards of all time.

    And that's why I don't play Standard =D (well maybe this season)

    Aaaaanyways, I really wanna make it work in Modern somehow. Seems solid, tapping down Colonnades and crap.

    UWR Midrange is somewhat of a thing still, try that out.
