Yes, the Dryad Arbor lookalike in the trailer was this card (this has different art, because promo version).

A mana dork (For 2) that they wont be able to kill without a boardwipe. I like her.

A 0/3 body seems nice enough to block with if you need to.

Silly, it's a slightly slower replacement for Arbor Elf that blocks Firefist Striker extremely well.

Well, sometimes it just works. I seriously want to see that deck against whatever aggro deck the format spits out, I can imagine it's hilarious.

The conversation I had with my friend about this card went like this.

"Well, looks like I have to wait until Reckoner is able to swing---"

"Nah, wouldn't work."

"Why's that?"

"I'd just block, tap, and cast Smite. Boom! Dead Reckoner and I keep my mana dork."

"...Why would you---"

"Because I'm bad, that's why."

Smite has seen actual play in Aristocrats.

I know, which is the amusingly sad part.

Still, much better card than people give credit for. Utopia Tree that has to lose to a board wipe or combat matters when you produce any mana.

You said Smite, and I thought about Loxodon Smiter.

I genuinely didn't know Smite even saw play. xD
