Dark Confidant

I just played a Dark Affinity deck, or so called, were this card was used. Kind of a new experience for me in a mirror match. Thoughtcast did a much better job with the card advantage for me, which I was playing the Blue Affinity variant for the night, but it did gain him the win against me in the second game. What do you guys think of this? I might actually cave to get some just for Dark Affinity to test the deck out.

Why would you play "Dark Affinity" or "Blue Affinity"? You have access to all colors through Glimmervoid and City of Brass. If I were you, I'd just use a playset of Confidants, Thoughtcasts and Galvanic Blasts. But may be just me.

I'd just play UR Affinity because 3 cards that require a splash sounds inconsistent. The deck doesn't need Bob since it has better threats and doesn't need its CA hosed by removal.

I usually go Tezzeret Affinity, but the mana base was too stretched for the nigh and I had only 20 minutes to go to the store. Sideboard was rushed, not perfect, so I just ran with it. I never liked burn, so I tend to stray from Galvanic Blast and Shrapnel. Shrapnel is just no justifiable lately for me. But I like the capability to play all different types of Affinity, so I might still attempt Dark Affinity. Getting the Dark Confidants would be worth it anyways.
