How did I not see this thread before?! Sherlock is phlipping amazing (that's flipping with a ph like ph for phat)! It's interesting to see how well they can transition it from the books to modern day tv.

I've always wanted to read Sherlock Holmes, but with as many books and Authors he's had I had no idea where to start.
Given that this is a television show I'm guessing no prior knowledge to anything other then the basic stuff you would already know about Sherlock would be needed to watch it right?
