Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes Empty Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes

Post by Dawn Sat Sep 15, 2012 6:34 pm

The story is set 14 years after Atlantia, the largest country in the world of Legendia, was torn apart by riots. The protagonist Tsurugi Tatewaki was secreted away from the chaos at a young age. Oblivious to his true birthplace, Tsurugi grows up as a spirited boy in the neighboring rocky land of Pacifis.

One day, Tsurugi suddenly comes across the "Shining Sword," and his great adventure begin. An army of darkness is hunting down the 12 Sword Braves, and as the army pursues Tsurugi, a figure appears before him. Bringer is a Card Battle Droid entrusted with the duty of protecting Tsurugi. Trained by Bringer in the ways of the Battle Spirits combat, Tsurugi joins the other Sword Braves in rising up against the army of darkness with his Key Spirit "Shining Dragon."
Considering this is a sort of continuation (Not necessarily a sequel to any of them, at least it doesn't look like one) of several series already and it does have a trading card game... before I watch it or anything, does it explain the game? Or does it need to? Because I haven't watched any of the other ones or tried playing before.
Also, since these are YouTube videos...

Come on Jodan, you said it was your guilty pleasure. =o

I watched about 10 episodes of Battle Spirits Dan and Battle spirits Heros and I pretty much got the gist of how they play just from watching it.

Also it's awesome that theres another one now Smile

Edit-Now that im on the second part of episode 1 he does explain the rules.

Second episode has been subbed. Will watch sometime after I wake up though.

Happened a few days ago, but I don't go checking YouTube that often so... I'm subscribed to see if that will help me.

EDIT: There was a spirit that needed to hold the sword in it's mouth. Laughing

Oh hey, I actually like the third episode about the same as the last (and best) episode of one of the last anime I completed (Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero). This is just me, but it could possibly be more enjoyable than quite a few anime I've watched in a while. And it's card games! :O
