Many children look at TV and find one show that catches their curious minds. Things seem normal in whatever episode they're watching, but suddenly, a bank robbery is discovered to be in progress. They see the lives of other innocent bystanders threatened, and hope something happens.

    Then, that miracle does happen.

A hero wearing some silly uniform and tights appears, with a manly shout of "Hold it right there, evildoers!".

They watch this person defeat the bad guys with no use of weapons, simply swift punches and kicks! The day has been saved by this man known as...

    ...
Everyone has one for their childhood, yeah?
Discuss Superheroes, or even heroes that you just looked up to at a young age.

Batman was always my favorite Superhero. Because he didn't have Super strength like Superman or Mutant Powers, Batman used Gadgets to fight crime. Also loved all the Bad Guys he fought. Favorite is easily the Joker.

I've been wanting to read the comics, but I'm scared of how much I need in order to get all caught up. :/

The Weblinger was my childhood hero Smile

Even though it was off by the time I was a kid I still grew up on the animated series Smile

Not to mention Carnage and Venom were awsome.
Ive also liked Iron man because he didnt have any powers. He just built this awsome suit of armor and beat bad guys.

Rita Replulsa was easily the best Bad Guy/Gal from the series. Went off plot after that.....

Not really. Rita was there for the entire Space, etc.
The later ones are the next generation, other villians and other rangers that didn't switch rolls.

My superheroes tend to be real life folks. Even some of those I've met online.
My only fantasy "superhero" was well... The Doctor.

Spider-Man will always be number 1 in my book. He's witty, has a good philosophy, and he's not so strong where he wins all the time.
Batman is also an awesome hero to watch. His movies and TV shows have set standards.
And the one thing these two have in common is they both have some of the best rogues galleries in all superherodom.

I... can't recall any particular hero at a young age. Batman was something I got into as I was older, never watched PR until older, etc.

Um... now, I just kinda look for traits I have and/or want in characters and it makes me resonate with them. Simon the Digger, Gaara of the Desert, Yuzuru Otonashi, etc.
