They are just fighting to show their own ego right now. It started out as an argument over the better trading on forums or whatever, giving their own opinion. Welche changed the argument into an egofest. Chris is trying to prove that his ego is bigger. Welche is trying to make him feel bad.
tl;dr. Chris is defensive, Welche is offensive. They both have egos.

I know I just wish everyone could get along here though.

You lost me on how this is relevant at all.

Should I be apologising that I don't have the money for a tier 1 deck? Or that I hate all the tier 1 playstyles of the past format bar Inzektors which still cost a boat-load? Should I be apologising that I haven't even been able to obtain a deck until recently and due to medical reasons explicitly, I was unable to attend nats?

Also, seeing as I have unarguably fine theory-oh, I don't see how my lack of credentials that I haven't even had the chance to achieve means anything.

Not against arguments at all. I, for one, always get into one in some way or another.
This really isn't an intelligent argument though. Just people being stupid and egotistical about shit that originated from a post about forums and trading, not really going anywhere in the end. And the fact that this is a club just makes it even more stupid. This club is suppose to be a place to relax and have talks. Make it private if you don't want people to intrude, because I rather talk about Winx Club than something worse that doesn't even matter to anyone but yourselves.

Solitaire is pretty fun when you're bored. But it usually is something that you get into yourself, but are introduced to it. That mainly for many card games, not TCGs.
