Personally, I watch it like any other show, because it's there. Always wanting to see new things, and the show is childish, though despite that, the friendship lessons at the end mostly are true.

I like watching it with Caeda, and the memes that come with it can be funny, as well as all the subtle references like Rapidash.

Watching this opened me up to the idea of watching it. Of course, I'd still never watch it without Caeda in the first place, but that's besides the point.
Make sure you have enough time to watch it, seeing as it's about an hour.
