Inazuma Eleven (イナズマイレブン Inazuma Irebun, lit. "Lightning Eleven") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tenya Yabuno based on a series of video games created by Level-5. The manga has been published by Shogakukan in CoroCoro Comic since the June 2008 issue. The manga series won the 2010 Kodansha Manga Award in the Children's Manga category.

The main character, Endou Mamoru, is a very talented goalkeeper and the grandson of one of the strongest goalkeepers in Japan, who died before he was born. Even though his skills are incredible, his school lacks a real soccer club as the 6 other members don't appear interested in training at all. But as soon as a mysterious forward called Gouenji moves to Endou's town, the young goalkeeper sets out to find and recruit members for his soccer team. From there, Endou and his team play all over the world. His love for soccer leads him to win the Football Frontier Internationals, the biggest soccer championship.

This is the cutest lil' anime in the world and I want an Endou of my own to cheer me up when I feel down. I've only watched it up to the end of the Teikoku finals, but I'm looking forward to getting around to the rest.

The soundtrack is amazing and the opening pretty much teaches you to sing along.

I know the storyline from the games released on the DS, which were surprisingly fun to play for football games, and the animé actually seems like a decent one to watch. If I ever bother to watch any animé, it's probably the first one on my list.

Just want to bump this to say that even though this anime is full of boring cliches, it's probably one of the best I've ever watched and literally everyone is precious.
