I think I would only read an action/adventure manga that doesn't have Comedy/Romance as an actual genre if I really like the anime or something, which that doesn't have. Or I just randomly decided to try it. I also saw the beginning of a review just now and a lot of bloody scenes doesn't make me want to read it knowing it's something that is there. =o

Like School Days. I know it, I'm probably not going to watch it. pale

Well, I initially read it because on MangaFox it said it had a Romance genre, so yeah. There aren't really that many bloody scenes. But when there is one, it's pretty bad. Even without romance, It easily became one of my favourite manga even only with 27 chapters.

And no. School Days is horrible. Don't even compare it to that. xD

It does contain a bit of romance, considering one of the villains is in love with the protagonist, but still. REEEAAAAADDD IIIITTTTT.
    prity pls
I've gotta finish my episode of Pretty Cure. =o
To me, Magical Girls come first. <3

School Days is great if you were not expecting the ending parts....I have to be the only one who thought it was just a cute little romance anime and then pow!

It's the sort of thing I'll only watch once but remember fondly.

    WHY?

The generic shoujo kind. =o *shot*
Well I'm not sure since it's the gene*shot* and I haven't seen that much yet.
And I guess the art is mostly similar and kind of different with each series from what I can tell, but I'm only watching the first one so far and it's like this:
    Spoiler:

and huh, I guess at least the crossover movies make the art style exactly the same, but it mostly is the same anyway.
    And what is it?
Mostly generic magical gir*shot* and TV Tropes says it's aimed at young girls and adult males. =o
    Because
TV Tropes wrote: including an abundance of action-packed physical combat (directed by the guy who did Dragon Ball Z!) and blatant yuri subtext between Nagisa and Honoka.
But Nagisa does like Fuji-P. =o
I guess the yuri subtext part is for the adult males and the girl still liking a guy is for the regular magical girl parts.

I somewhat agree even though I didn't see more than 2 episodes, because of hearing about it. =o

The art style is sort of nostalgic for me. I guess it reminds me of Sailor Moon or something.

    >yuri
    oh my...
I wonder if I'm well known for my love of Yuri here, instead of only YCM.
    xP

I might end up watching it, depending on how many episodes there are.

It probably won't surprise you, but the first series has 2 seasons of 49 and 47 episodes. And remember, only subtext.

Also, for some reason, 80-something first chapters make me want to stop for the day when I read one. =o

I know it's happened to me with Negima too, (only 72 pages but I've read more manga on day(s) that I read a 60-something first chapter) I guess

I'm know some/most others read more after that kind of a thing.

Why is there both the words magical girl and yuri in the same context without me seeing Madoka anywhere?

    Accepted.

Also, you are wrong. There is (Thankfully) Madoka in places even in this forum, just it happens to not be here yet. Also because there are other shows that feature

Also because a lot of magical girl anime have it even when it's not as obvious as I think Madoka was the most.

I used some of my day reading manga, which I don't usually do.

I started Bakuman, too but I've been meaning to for quite some time. I might not finish it for quite some time either but I plan too! :I

And there are very few manga I'm actually up to date with... when I typed that I just remembered about Acchi Kocchi.

I-It's not like... I forget things... a lot.

At any rate, I'm going to read that 30th chapter. =o

Bakuman's a really solid series overall. Definitely placed into my top 10 somewhere.
It's got a lot of cool characters and different art styles as well. Ohba really is a talented artist.
